Love In Action : Andrew Fish

The encounter of Jesus and the Samaritan woman in John 4 would not have happened had Jesus not approached her. He could have just let her draw water, give her a smile, and be on His way. This was never his intention though because His love for her was so zealous that it required that He step towards her. We are called to step towards people with the love of Jesus. This love is not just a nice feel-good kind love but it is a love that requires action.
