A Healthy Heart: Hope Deferred /// Andrew Fish

What happens to our hearts when we encounter trial, pain, hopelessness, and disappointment? If we are not careful to watch over our hearts then when trouble or difficulty comes we can end up with a heart that is sick. Our hearts were never meant to carry the burden of processing life on our own. We have to open up and allow the Lord into our hearts and have Him become our longing fulfilled. 

“God wants us to process our hearts with Him. He wants to take our hope deferred places and He wants to fill those places with His hope and His life.”
